Based on my active 78-year-old father's recent heart ultrasound (2D Echo) showing a thickened heart wall (concentric LVH), a normal pumping capacity of 57% (LVEF), and mild heart stiffness when relaxing (grade 1 diastolic dysfunction), is there any cause for concern regarding his heart, and could these findings explain his intermittent shortness of breath ("hafni") while taking his daily prostate medications (Contiflo D and Zurig 40)?
