I am having a cough with phlegm, & much worse at night. The cough disturbs my sleep, every day.It is not a dry cough, & the need to cough-out phlegm is bringing pain to my chest. Will Corex-D help me or make things worse? Kindly advice. Thanks.

A cough with phlegm usually indicates your body is trying to clear mucus from your airways, which can happen with infections or allergies.
This type of cough is often called a productive or chesty cough and may be due to a respiratory infection, such as a cold or bronchitis, or irritation from allergens.
It’s best to consult a pulmonologist (lung specialist) or your primary care doctor to evaluate your symptoms and get appropriate treatment. To narrow down potential causes, we will need some more information. Please tell me your age and gender.
