Is it safe to get the COVID-19 vaccine, and are there any harmful side effects, if I recently recovered from a fever and runny nose (which went away after taking Crocin) but never got tested to confirm if I actually had COVID-19?
It is safe to get your COVID-19 vaccine. Since you have fully recovered from your fever and runny nose, and no longer need Crocin (paracetamol), you can safely receive the shot. Even if your recent illness was actually COVID-19, getting vaccinated provides excellent, long-term protection. Common side effects are typically mild and temporary, such as soreness at the injection site, mild fatigue, or a low-grade fever that resolves in a couple of days. Serious side effects are extremely rare.
