I have difficulty passing urine with a burning sensation. What can I do for grade 1 prostatomegaly and cystitis?
For prostatomegaly, your doctor may prescribe alpha-blockers to relax the prostate and improve urine flow. For cystitis, a short course of antibiotics can treat the infection. Drink plenty of water to flush bacteria from the bladder, and avoid alcohol, caffeine, and spicy foods to reduce irritation. Seek urgent medical attention if you develop a fever, notice blood in your urine, or are unable to pass urine.
