Is it safe to drink a glass of beer or red wine before dinner while taking Dentimox 625 twice a day prior to tooth removal?
Dentimox 625 Tablet contains amoxicillin, clavulanic acid, and lactic acid bacillus. Drinking alcohol, even a small amount like a single glass of beer or wine, is unlikely to cause a dangerous reaction with this medicine. However, alcohol can increase side effects such as nausea, stomach upset, dizziness, or drowsiness, and may reduce the effectiveness of the probiotics in the tablet. Alcohol can also slow your body’s healing after tooth removal. For safety and best recovery, it is recommended to avoid alcohol during the antibiotic course and for at least 48 hours after finishing it.
