Despite their similar sounds, Desqual and Desqual M are not exactly the same. Desqual is primarily used to regulate bleeding (such as heavy periods or nosebleeds) and typically contains tranexamic acid. Desqual M, on the other hand, is a combination medication that helps with both bleeding and pain relief because it may contain pain-relieving ingredients like mefenamic acid (and perhaps other agents depending on the brand). As a result, they should not be used interchangeably without a doctor's supervision because they are distinct products.
