However, if the burning is severe, lasts longer, worsens, or is accompanied by redness, swelling, eye pain, blurred vision, discharge, or worsening irritation, consult your eye doctor promptly for proper evaluation. Use the eye drops only as prescribed and avoid touching the dropper tip to the eye or surrounding surfaces.
