Both Ecosprin AV 75/10 and 75/20 contain the same two active ingredients: aspirin, which helps prevent blood clots, and atorvastatin, which lowers cholesterol. The only difference is that the 75/20 strength contains 20 mg of atorvastatin instead of 10 mg, providing stronger cholesterol control. This is a very common dose adjustment and is generally very safe. While serious side effects are rare, the higher atorvastatin dose can occasionally cause mild, temporary muscle aches or slight stomach upset. Please feel reassured that this transition is typically very smooth, but do let your doctor know if you experience any unusual or persistent muscle pain.
