Following your doctor’s prescription is clinically justified because your test results indicate primary hypothyroidism, which requires thyroid hormone replacement to normalise hormone levels and prevent complications. The prescribed dose is determined based on your medical condition, age, weight, severity of hormone deficiency, and other individual health factors. The key now is to take the medication consistently and attend follow-up blood tests so the dose can be safely adjusted. If you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to discuss them with your prescribing doctor regarding your medication or treatment plan.
