TSH 3rd GEN was 124.98, total T4 was 4.5, and total T3 was 95.22 in the overall thyroid profile report. Please advise what will happen and how to treat this situation as the TSH third generation appears to be elevated.

Together with the low-normal T4 level, a very high TSH value of 124.98 clearly indicates hypothyroidism, a condition in which the thyroid gland is not making enough hormone. Fatigue, weight gain, physical pain, oedema, constipation, hair loss, dry skin, depression, or irregular periods can all result from this. Thyroid hormone tablets, such as levothyroxine, are typically used for treatment. These tablets must be taken exactly as directed by a physician each day, and frequent blood tests are required to modify the dosage. Do not begin or discontinue taking thyroid medication without first consulting a doctor or endocrinologist.
