Fatigue, weight gain, physical pain, oedema, constipation, hair loss, dry skin, depression, or irregular periods can all result from this. Thyroid hormone tablets, such as levothyroxine, are typically used for treatment. These tablets must be taken exactly as directed by a physician each day, and frequent blood tests are required to modify the dosage.
