Facicare cream contains Hydroquinone, Mometasone, and Tretinoin. It is usually prescribed for short-term treatment of dark spots and uneven pigmentation caused by melasma. You can apply it on clean, dry skin as directed by your doctor, and generally, you do not need to use other cosmetic products on the same area, as they may increase irritation. However, a gentle cleanser and a non-comedogenic moisturiser can be used if needed, and sunscreen during the day is essential. Long-term use without medical supervision can cause harm. Hydroquinone, when used for long periods, may cause irreversible darkening of the skin called ochronosis. Tretinoin may cause dryness, redness, and sensitivity.
