Could taking Doxi sl, Zinconia, Limcee, Montina, A to z, Calpol, Ivermectin, Famocid 40, and Alpox 0.25mg during early pregnancy cause birth defects or harm to our baby, and is it safe to continue the pregnancy?
While some of these medications, like doxycycline (Doxi sl) and alprazolam (Alpox), are generally avoided during pregnancy, accidental early exposure rarely causes severe harm or means you must terminate the pregnancy. Many of the other items, such as paracetamol (Calpol) and famotidine (Famocid), are safe. Most pregnancies with early exposure to these medications still result in healthy babies. Please consult your obstetrician promptly; they will likely recommend a detailed anomaly ultrasound later in the pregnancy to monitor your baby's development and provide reassurance.
