Ringworm coming back after short relief usually means the infection was not fully cleared, or moisture and friction are allowing it to return. Keep the area clean and completely dry, change clothes and undergarments daily, and wear loose cotton clothing to reduce sweat and rubbing, and avoid sharing towels or personal items to prevent the spread. Do not use steroid creams as they can worsen and hide the infection, and keep the area exposed to air when possible to help healing. Wash and dry towels and bedding regularly to avoid reinfection.
