What could be causing me to sweat all day around my neck, armpits, and chest, even though my blood pressure and heart rate are normal and I do not have a fever, and could this be a side effect of my high blood fat (triglycerides) or the Fibator tablets I am taking?
Your normal blood pressure, heart rate, and lack of fever are very positive signs. High triglycerides themselves do not usually cause sweating. However, excessive sweating can occasionally be a side effect of Fibator (which contains fenofibrate and atorvastatin). Other possibilities at your age include hormonal fluctuations or stress. Since your vital signs are stable, there is no need to panic. I highly recommend discussing this with your prescribing doctor, who can safely evaluate your symptoms and see if a medication adjustment or further checkup is needed.
