Is it true that drinking red wine can improve skin health, provide a youthful glow, and reduce the risk of heart disease, or are these claims merely myths?

While it is a popular idea, these claims are mostly exaggerated. Red wine contains antioxidants like resveratrol, which can support skin and heart health in theory. However, the amount of red wine you would need to drink to get these clinical benefits is highly toxic to your body. In reality, alcohol dehydrates the skin, accelerates ageing, and can increase cardiovascular risks if overconsumed. To get the benefits of antioxidants safely, it is much better to eat a balanced diet rich in fresh grapes, berries, and leafy greens. You definitely do not need to start drinking red wine for your health.
