I have had pimples on my face for the past 3 months. I first used tea tree oil, then DACNE 20 mg for about 4 weeks, and now I am taking Finetret 20 mg with another medicine, but I still have many pimples. Why is this not improving, and what should I do?
If your pimples keep coming back even after trying different treatments, it may be because acne often takes time to improve, especially when it is moderate or severe. Sometimes, your skin might look worse before it gets better. Stress, hormones, oily skin, diet, or not sticking to your treatment can also slow down recovery. DACNE 20 mg and Finetret 20 mg are common acne medicines, but Finetret 20 mg usually takes several weeks or even months to show clear results. Only use it as your doctor recommends, since the dose and how long you take it need to be watched, and it can cause dryness or irritation. Try not to switch products too often or use harsh treatments, as these can make your skin more irritated. Wash your face gently twice a day, avoid picking at pimples, and choose non-oily skincare products. Getting enough sleep, drinking plenty of water, and cutting back on oily or junk food can also help. If your pimples are still getting worse even with treatment, check in with your doctor so they can adjust your plan.
