I have been using Flojo-D eye drops and Calpol tablets for a red eye infection, but the irritation has not improved. Would Moxifloxacin eye drops be helpful for my condition?

Flojo-D already contains an antibiotic (Ofloxacin) and a steroid (Dexamethasone). If your irritation hasn?t improved, switching to Moxifloxacin (another antibiotic) on your own is not advisable. Your red eye could be due to a viral or fungal infection, or a resistant bacterial strain. Furthermore, abruptly changing or stopping steroid-containing drops like Flojo-D can be risky for your eyes. Please do not self-medicate. I strongly recommend visiting an ophthalmologist (eye specialist) for a proper eye examination to determine the exact cause of the irritation and prescribe the correct treatment.
