I have genital warts, and even after using Flonida 5%, Suprocin, and antibiotics, they are not clearing completely. Some warts are now under my foreskin, and it is difficult to apply the cream there. Can circumcision or any other treatment help remove them properly?
Genital warts are commonly caused by HPV infection and may sometimes persist or return even after creams and antibiotics. Flonida 5% Cream and antibiotic creams may not completely remove deeper or hidden warts, especially when they are present under the foreskin. Moisture, friction, and difficulty in properly applying medicine in that area can also slow and reduce the effectiveness of treatment. Doctors may suggest treatments such as cautery, cryotherapy, laser removal, or prescription wart treatments depending on the number, size, and location of the warts. In some people, circumcision may help when warts repeatedly form under the foreskin or when hygiene and treatment application become difficult. However, the decision depends on proper examination by a doctor. Avoid scratching, shaving, or attempting to remove the infection yourself, as this can spread the infection further. Sexual partners may also need evaluation in some cases. Please consult a doctor soon if the warts are increasing in size, painful, bleeding, or not improving despite treatment.
