Hello sir/ma'am, I'm suffering from fever from last 4 days. I'm out of station. Where medical facility is not up to the mark. I have pain, like some weight on my head. I shivered then got fever and after that a lot of sweat. I have pain in my eyes also. Feeling weakness also. Please suggest me medicine and tell me what it is? I am in doubt of maleriya. Thank you.
Fever with shivering, sweating, headache, eye pain, and weakness can happen in infections such as Malaria, Dengue Fever, flu, or other viral illnesses. It is difficult to confirm the exact cause without tests, so please avoid starting antimalarial or antibiotic medicines on your own. For now, rest well, drink plenty of water/ORS, and you may take Paracetamol for fever if you are not allergic to it. Since the fever has continued for 4 days, try to get a blood test for malaria, dengue, and CBC as soon as possible. Seek urgent medical care if you develop breathing difficulty, vomiting, confusion, severe weakness, or bleeding symptoms.
