My lower right eyelid has a tiny lump inside of it. It hurt at first, but it's gradually getting better. To treat any infection, I use gentamycin eye drops. I've been using hot compresses for the past four to five days. Would you kindly recommend a medication or course of treatment?
Warm compresses can gradually relieve a small, uncomfortable lump inside the eyelid, which is frequently caused by a stye or clogged oil gland. Keep the eye area clean and continue applying warm compresses for ten to fifteen minutes several times a day. Don't squeeze or rub the bump. If an infection is present, gentamicin eye drops might be helpful, but they should only be used as prescribed by a physician. Please see an eye expert if the swelling gets worse within a week or two, produces extreme redness, fever, or vision issues.
