I have had diabetes for 16 years and high blood pressure for 11 years, and I am taking Concor AM 5, Telma 40, Glimulin MF Forte, Janumet 50/1000, Gabapin NT 400/10, and Ecosprin AV 75 regularly. For the last 6 months, I have been getting itching near my joints repeatedly. Allerid 10 mg provides relief for 2 days, but the itching returns after 4 to 5 days. Could this be due to diabetes, allergy, or any of my medicines?

Frequent itching around the joints can happen for different reasons, and in your case, it may be related to diabetes, dry skin, allergy, sweating, fungal infection, or sometimes even a reaction to medicines. Long-term diabetes can make the skin dry and sensitive, especially when sugar levels are not fully controlled.
