I am a diabetic patient and have been advised to take Gluconorm G1 in the morning and at night, and Zita Plus at noon. However, whenever I take Gluconorm, I experience stomach upset and gas problems. I have tried taking antacids, but there is no improvement. What could be the reason for this, and do I need to change my medication?
Stomach upset and gas are common side effects of Gluconorm G1. Taking it after meals may help, but if symptoms persist despite antacids, consult your doctor as the dose or medication may need adjustment. Do not stop the medication on your own.
