My scalp irritates when I go from sunlight to shade. I have been using Halox lotion and Fungicide shampoo as advised by a dermatologist for a month, but I have not seen improvement. Can you provide additional advice?
In addition to fungal infections, sun-shade sensitivity and discomfort may indicate psoriasis, seborrheic dermatitis, or contact sensitivity. Steer clear of overusing steroids like Halox; consult your dermatologist about non-steroid alternatives, calming creams, or changing shampoos?(ketoconazole/ciclopirox). Avoid hot water and harsh treatments, shield your scalp from the sun, and be reevaluated if nothing has changed after a month.
