Drinking warm fluids, such as soups and herbal teas, helps keep the throat and nose moist. Saline nasal drops or sprays can safely reduce blockage. Adequate rest and good hydration are important for recovery. If there is a bodyache or fever, paracetamol can be taken as advised by a doctor.
