I am using Itone Eye Drops, and they cause a brief stinging or burning sensation when applied, but it settles within a few seconds. Should I continue using these eye drops or stop them?
A mild, brief stinging or burning sensation immediately after using Itone Eye Drops may sometimes occur and is usually due to the natural herbal ingredients such as neem, tulsi, camphor, or turmeric. In most cases, if the discomfort is mild and disappears within a few seconds, it is not harmful, and the drops can be continued as directed. These eye drops help soothe dryness, irritation, and eye strain, especially from screen use, dust, or pollution. However, they should feel comfortable after the initial few seconds of application. If the burning becomes severe, lasts longer, or is accompanied by redness, watering, swelling, or blurred vision, the drops should be discontinued, and an eye doctor should be consulted.
