Is IZ-K Lotion ideal to use on the face?
IZ-K Lotion contains Ketoconazole (2%) and Zinc Pyrithione (1%), which are antifungal agents used to treat skin infections such as seborrheic dermatitis. While it may be prescribed for facial seborrheic dermatitis, it should be used on the face only under a dermatologist’s supervision. Facial skin is sensitive, and even with proper use, mild irritation or dryness may occur. Unsupervised or excessive use can increase the risk of side effects or worsen existing symptoms. The lotion is not meant for regular skincare or cosmetic purposes, and contact with the eyes, lips, and mucous membranes should be strictly avoided.
