I am suffering from hair loss with a very scaly scalp and heavy flaking. Hair also comes out with the flakes, and my hair has become very thin. I am using Biomane and Kera XL solution. What can help control the scaling and reduce hair fall?

Heavy scalp scaling with flakes and thinning hair can occur due to severe dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis, a fungal scalp infection, psoriasis, or scalp inflammation. When thick flakes stick to the scalp, hair may come out along with them because the roots become irritated and weak over time. Stress, oily scalp, irregular washing, poor nutrition, and hormonal changes can also worsen both scaling and hair fall. Biomane and Kera XL may support hair growth, but controlling the scalp inflammation is equally important, or the hair fall may continue. Anti-dandruff shampoos containing ketoconazole, zinc, or salicylic acid are often used to reduce scaling and itching. Gentle scalp cleaning, avoiding scratching, and not applying too many oily products may help improve scalp health. Hair recovery is usually slow and may take a few months after the scaling comes under control. If the scalp develops redness, pus, painful patches, bald spots, or thick crusting, consulting a doctor may help identify whether psoriasis, fungal infection, or another scalp condition is present.
