I have external piles without any bleeding, but my stools are very hard. I have been taking Kinlax syrup for regular bowel movements. Please suggest suitable treatment or medicines to help cure piles and relieve constipation.
External piles, also called external haemorrhoids, are swollen veins around the anal area that commonly develop due to hard stools, constipation, straining during bowel movements, a low-fibre diet, or sitting for long periods. Since you are not having bleeding, the main goal is to soften the stools and reduce strain while passing motion. Kinlax syrup may help relieve constipation, but long-term improvement mainly depends on diet and lifestyle changes. Increase fibre intake by eating fruits, vegetables, salads, whole grains, oats, and plenty of fluids, because soft stools reduce pressure on the piles. Drinking enough water throughout the day is very important. Regular physical activity, walking, and avoiding long sitting or excessive straining during toilet use can also help. Warm sitz baths, where you sit in warm water for 10-15 minutes a few times daily, may reduce discomfort and swelling. Doctors may sometimes prescribe stool softeners, fibre supplements, or piles creams and ointments to reduce pain, irritation, or swelling if needed. Avoid spicy foods, smoking, and excessive junk food if they worsen bowel problems. Do not ignore persistent constipation, severe pain, swelling, or bleeding, because some cases may need further evaluation or procedures if symptoms become severe or recurrent. If the problem continues despite treatment, consult a doctor or colorectal specialist for proper examination and long-term management.
