I have noticed that my acne has reduced after taking Lacne 20 mg, but the pores on my cheeks have become more visible. What can I do to reduce the enlarged pores?
Lacne 20 mg contains isotretinoin, which helps reduce oil production and effectively control acne (pimples). As the skin becomes less oily and acne clears, the pores on the cheeks may become more visible. This is quite common and usually not harmful. In many people, the appearance of pores improves gradually after the full course of treatment is completed. To help reduce enlarged pores, use a gentle face wash twice daily and apply a non-comedogenic moisturiser to prevent dryness. Daily sunscreen use is also important because sun exposure can make pores appear larger. Avoid harsh scrubbing, squeezing pimples, or using strong cosmetic products, as these may further irritate the skin. After completing isotretinoin treatment, a dermatologist may suggest topical retinoid creams, chemical peels, microneedling, or laser procedures if the pores remain very noticeable. Continue the medicine only under medical supervision and attend regular follow-up visits to monitor your skin condition and possible side effects.
