Having intercourse 8 hours after your human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) trigger injection is actually excellent timing! Since sperm can live inside the reproductive tract for three to five days, they will be waiting and highly viable when ovulation typically occurs (around 36 to 40 hours post-trigger). Skipping the following day does not significantly lower your chances of conception, as your 8-hour window has already put you in a very strong position.
