Why are my AST, ALT, and GGT levels abnormal despite normal tests, considering I have diabetes and take Ozomet M2 and Lipirose-F 10?
Mildly abnormal AST, ALT, or GGT levels are common in people with diabetes, often due to fatty liver. Medicines like Lipirose-F (statin) can also slightly raise liver enzymes in some people. Even if other tests are normal, these enzymes can fluctuate. Avoid alcohol, control blood sugar, maintain a healthy diet and weight, and repeat the test after some time. If levels stay high, talk to your doctor.
