LNZ 600 contains Linezolid, a strong antibiotic usually used to treat specific bacterial infections. A cough can happen due to a viral infection, irritation, allergy, or another infection, so changing antibiotics on your own may not be safe or effective. Do not stop LNZ 600 or switch to Azithromycin without speaking to the doctor who prescribed it. Monitor your symptoms closely and continue the medicine as advised unless you develop side effects like rash, severe diarrhoea, breathing difficulty, or worsening fever. Drink enough fluids, take proper rest, and avoid smoking or cold irritants that may worsen the cough. If the cough becomes severe, produces blood, causes breathing trouble, chest pain, or if fever continues for several days, consult your doctor for examination and possible tests to decide whether a medicine change is needed.
