You should consult an eye doctor again for a detailed eye examination. The doctor may need to check for dry eye severity, corneal problems, infection, or allergic triggers. Sometimes stronger lubricating gels, preservative-free eye drops, oral antihistamines, eyelid care, or different anti-inflammatory medicines may be needed.
