  5. Hello! Doctor?gave me an ointment called EBERNET-M and prescribed ITRASYS-200 MG (twice daily) for 30 days after diagnosing me with tinea cruris, which is characterised by a red patch between my thighs close to my genitalia. My tinea was almost completely gone after taking them, then all of a sudden I experienced another breakout, this time with intense itching. I would like to know what you think about this. Thank you! :) Please advise if I should take it again. Or perhaps you could make a better suggestion?

Your relapse of Tinea cruris after initial improvement is quite common, especially if moisture, sweating, or tight clothing continue, or if the fungus wasn?t fully cleared. Ebernet-M can give quick relief but long-term use (because of the steroid) may worsen recurrence, so it?s better to switch to a pure antifungal cream like clotrimazole or luliconazole. Itraconazole (Itrasys-200) should not be restarted on your own, repeat courses need doctor supervision due to dose and liver considerations. Keep the area dry, wear loose cotton clothes, and avoid steroid creams; consult a dermatologist for a proper long-term antifungal plan to prevent repeated flare-ups.
