I have had lower back pain for five months from a bulging spinal disc with a tear that is squeezing my spinal nerve, causing pain down my left and sometimes right leg. Since steroid injections and Lyrica 75mg have not relieved my pain, my doctor suggested either cooled radiofrequency biacuplasty (using heat to treat the disc) or radiofrequency ablation (using heat to disable the nerves sending pain signals)?which of these two procedures is the better option for my condition?
