Maxtra-P syrup should be used for a 5-month-old baby only if prescribed by a paediatrician. Babies this young should not be given cold medicines without medical advice, as the dose depends on age and weight and can be unsafe if given incorrectly. Please consult your paediatrician before giving any medicine to your child.

For a baby with a fever and a runny nose for 2 days, do not continue MEFTAL-P or Maxtra-P unless a paediatrician has prescribed them. Please see a paediatrician for the right medicine and correct dose based on your baby?s age and weight.

If your 2-year-old's cold has improved but the fever keeps coming back after Calpol, it may be due to an infection that needs proper evaluation. You can continue Calpol only in the correct dose for age and weight to control fever. Do not add or change medicines on your own. Please consult a paediatrician, especially if the fever lasts more than 2 to 3 days.

Maxtra-P syrup can help relieve cold symptoms, fever, and body aches, but it should be used only as advised. If the cold is severe or persistent, it is best to consult a doctor.
