I have been suffering from white patches on my face and body, along with dark circles around my eyes, for the past 5-6 years. I previously used Melanocyl ointment, Pacroma cream, and Sodox supplements, but they are no longer effective and the patches keep returning. Can these conditions be completely cured, and what medicines or ointments should I use next?

The white patches suggest vitiligo, a chronic autoimmune condition. While a permanent cure cannot be guaranteed as it can recur, it can be successfully managed. Since Pacroma and Melanocyl are no longer working, your dermatologist may recommend advanced options. These include newer topical JAK inhibitors (like ruxolitinib), stronger topical corticosteroids, oral mini-pulse therapy to stop active spreading, or narrowband UVB phototherapy. Dark circles may be due to genetics or skin thinning and can be treated separately with targeted creams. Please consult a dermatologist to customize a safe, updated treatment plan, as self-medication can cause side effects.
