Why do I feel dizzy suddenly?
Sudden dizziness can occur for many reasons. Common causes include dehydration, low blood pressure, low blood sugar, anaemia, inner ear disorders (such as benign paroxysmal positional vertigo or labyrinthitis), anxiety, or side effects of certain medications. It may feel like lightheadedness, faintness, or vertigo (a spinning sensation). While occasional dizziness is often harmless, recurrent, severe, or persistent episodes should be evaluated by a doctor to rule out more serious conditions such as heart problems, neurological disorders, or chronic ear disease.
