When you have a fever, you can take 500?650 mg of Metacin (paracetamol), up to every 6?8 hours if necessary, but not more than 3,000 mg per day. Instead of taking it on a daily basis, consult a doctor to determine the underlying cause if your fever persists despite normal testing.
