I have Type 2 Diabetes. Can it be cured permanently?
Type 2 Diabetes usually cannot be permanently cured, but it can be very well controlled, and in some cases, even go into remission (normal sugar levels without medicines for a period of time). This is possible with healthy lifestyle changes like maintaining a balanced diet, regular exercise, weight loss (if overweight), good sleep, and stress control, along with medicines as advised by your doctor. Regular monitoring of blood sugar is important to track progress. Even if sugars become normal, ongoing healthy habits and follow-up are needed because diabetes can return. With proper care, you can live a long, healthy life and prevent complications.
