Please do not reduce your dosage or stop taking Metolar AM-25 on your own. Abruptly stopping this medication can cause a dangerous rebound spike in blood pressure or heart rate. Dizziness, drowsiness, and tiredness are common side effects as your body adjusts, or they may indicate your blood pressure is dropping slightly too low at times. Since your readings are normal, the medication is working, but your body may need a different dose. Please consult your doctor immediately to safely evaluate these symptoms and adjust your prescription if needed. In the meantime, rise slowly from sitting or lying down to prevent dizziness.
