I have a throat infection with a white spot on my throat. I initially took Vegapod-CV, LCZ, and Rantac, followed by Cefolac-AZ and five doses of Mikacin injection. Despite this treatment, the white spot still remains. What should I do next?
If a white spot persists in your throat after taking several antibiotics, it may not be a simple bacterial infection. It could be caused by a fungal infection, tonsil debris, or another underlying condition. It is important to have a throat examination, possibly with a throat swab, to determine the exact cause. Avoid taking more antibiotics on your own and consult an ENT doctor for a proper diagnosis and treatment.
