Please do not substitute Ventrolin with Protussa syrup without consulting your pediatrician. Ventrolin contains salbutamol, which helps open her airways to make breathing easier, while Protussa contains levodropropizine, a cough suppressant. They work very differently and are not interchangeable. Since your daughter has enlarged adenoids, her airway is already partially blocked, making medication changes without medical supervision risky. Monticope (montelukast and levocetirizine) helps with her allergies and swelling, but please consult her doctor before making any changes to ensure her safety.
