Your symptoms may be due to constipation with trapped stool or irritable bowel syndrome, though persistent right-sided abdominal pain should be assessed to rule out other causes. Pain while passing stools may suggest an anal fissure caused by hard stools and straining. You should increase dietary fibre, drink more water, avoid straining, and consider a stool softener if needed after medical advice.
