You can tilt your head to the side and gently pull your earlobe in different directions to help the water drain out. You may also lie on your side with the affected ear facing down, or use a hairdryer on a low setting held at a safe distance to help evaporate the water. Avoid inserting cotton buds or other objects. If the water does not come out, or if you develop pain, hearing loss, or discharge, please see an ENT doctor.
