Odoxil 500 mg contains cefadroxil, an oral antibiotic. It is generally not the correct or first-line treatment for common surface eye infections, such as conjunctivitis. Most eye infections are treated much more effectively and safely with targeted topical antibiotic eye drops or ointments prescribed by a doctor. Oral antibiotics are typically reserved for deeper, more severe infections of the eye or surrounding tissues. I highly recommend consulting an eye specialist (ophthalmologist) for a proper examination. They can prescribe the correct localised treatment and prevent potential complications.
