I have been dealing with scabies for two years. It improves with Omnacortil 10mg, but flares up again after stopping. What should I do?
If your scabies gets better only while taking Omnacortil and comes back after stopping, it means the actual infection was not treated properly. Steroids only reduce itching; they do not kill the scabies mites. Seeing a dermatologist will help you get rid of it completely. Also, wash clothes, bedsheets, and towels well.
