Which eye drops are recommended for treating a pollen allergy?

For pollen allergies, I highly recommend over-the-counter antihistamine/mast cell stabiliser eye drops, such as olopatadine or ketotifen. These provide fast, long-lasting relief from itching and redness. Additionally, preservative-free lubricating artificial tears are excellent for flushing out pollen allergens from your eyes. I advise avoiding decongestant drops (like Visine) for more than three consecutive days, as they can cause rebound redness. If your symptoms persist or are severe, please consult an eye doctor, who may prescribe stronger anti-inflammatory or steroid drops.
