I have oily skin with visible open pores. What skincare routine should I follow?
Use a gentle oil-free cleanser twice daily to remove excess oil. Exfoliate 1 to 2 times weekly with a mild chemical exfoliant such as salicylic acid to remove dead skin cells and help reduce the appearance of pores. Avoid harsh scrubs that can irritate the skin and increase oil production. Apply a lightweight non-comedogenic moisturiser and use a sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher daily. Maintain a healthy diet, avoid excessive oily foods, and consult a dermatologist if oiliness or open pores persist or worsen.
