I often get stomach issues like bloating and noisy stomach sounds. Could this be related to a digestion problem?
Bloating and noisy stomach sounds are common and may occur due to indigestion, excess gas, irregular eating, food intolerance, acidity, constipation, stress or a sensitive gut. Your stomach and intestines naturally make noises during digestion, but these can get louder when there is more gas or movement. Eating too fast, skipping meals, overeating, or having very spicy, oily, or gas-producing foods can make things worse. Problems like digestive imbalance, irritable bowel syndrome, or mild infections can also cause recurrent bloating and pain. You might feel better by eating smaller meals, drinking enough water, sticking to regular meal times, eating slowly and cutting back on foods that cause gas, like fried foods, fizzy drinks or heavy late-night meals. Sometimes, probiotics or digestive medicines can help, depending on your symptoms. Regular walks and coping with stress can also support better digestion over time. If you experience severe stomach pain, vomiting, weight loss, blood in your stool, ongoing diarrhoea, or your bloating gets worse, consult your doctor.
